Nutti's muses

I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.

Farm City: The Education of an Urban Farmer

Farm City: The Education of an Urban Farmer - Novella Carpenter, Karen White, Karen White I enjoyed this book. However, vegetarians and vegans may not find this book as enjoyable as I did. She does talk about the slaughtering & eating of the animals she raised. However, one thing I've been frustrated by in this country is our removal of where the food comes from. Novella knows where the majority of her food comes from, she raises it herself. Anyone who is interested in growing stuff in a city environment should read this book.
