I read little bits of everything. My mystery preference is cozy. I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background. And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.
Loved it! Mercy tangles again with the fae. Fae watch out. We learn more about Mercy & Adam's relationship. Love conquers all!
An intriguing & well written book about why Americans (people, businesses & government) hold on to ideas that have run it's course. Miller talks about the innovations he'd like to see coming from Europe & Asia particularly in the interest in public schools. His ideas are not for the faint of heart.
This felt like it might be the last book in the series. We're celebrating the marriage of one of Sarah & Matt's kids, so this ages the characters 20 some years. It was good to see all my old friends and some new ones as well.
This is the latest in a cute cozy series set in New Orleans about a scrap booking shop in the French Quarter. A very enjoyable series currently dealing with the aftermath of Rita & Katrina.
Definitely a book for those who like Alex Rider & Artemis Fowl. Can Cody who spent his life traveling from one hotspot to another with his dad adjust to life in Connecticut?
Eve gets called in on her day off for the murder of a Captain's teenage daughter. Not only the murder, but the brutal rape of the Capt daughter in his very well secured home. Eve calls the team together including her husband Roarke, the grief stricken Morris, the cohabs Peabody & McNab, Dr. Mira, & of course Somerset. Somerset, takes this murder personally as it reminds him of the death of his own daughter. Also the wedding of Louise & Charles being held @ Roarke & Eve's home.
I would give it 2.5 if I could. Still no Ranger Morelli conclusion. I'm ready for the series to end.
Not as enjoyable as the earlier Wheel due to circumstances in Jane's personal life. She and Tim are clearing out an old family home. When Tim finds a script from the former owner he decides to put on a production of the play. All heck breaks out. We do learn lots of interesting things about Nellie Jane's mom before her wedding to Don.
This was a good 1st novel in the series. A solid whodunit mystery. Enjoyed the characters and setting. A must for cozy mystery lovers.
Sophie has to host her sister's wedding to Craig. Nobody in Sophie's family particularly likes Craig, but they all want Hannah's wedding to go well. When Craig's first wife shows up dead will the wedding go on?
This book presents clear concise medical information from doctors who also happen to be women. The message is it's ok to be human. No superwomen here!!!
Interesting take on our financial problems. How we got here and comparisons to previous generations.
Interesting book about family dynamics and what happens when one brother is suspected of doing the unthinkable...murdering someone.
I never expected the life story I read about. I always thought she grew up provelaged. This was not the case as her story tells.
The journal of a teenage girl reflecting on her life dealing with having to watch her carbon emissions.
