I read little bits of everything. My mystery preference is cozy. I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background. And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.
I really enjoyed this book. The ladies of Covington are at it again. When an old box is found buried unearthed is a collection of letters & a journal written by one Union solider & one Confederate solider who were both left for dead on the battlefield. Both men are nursed back to health by an older woman who just got done burying her last family member, a grandson. The ladies get the idea to find these men's descendants and invite them for Christmas on the mountain. Also the story of Max's daughter in law is closer to being resolved. A truly touching Christmas story.
