Airman
After his dramatic birth in a hot air balloon, Conor Broekhart dreams of building a flying machine. Growing up on the small island of Saltee off the coast of Ireland, all Conor can think about is flying machines. Conor gets caught trying to stop a coup attempt against King Nicholas. His punishment a life sentence working in the diamond mines on Little Saltee Island. Even Conor’s imprisonment and virtual slavery cannot quench his desire to create a flying machine. The only way to escape Little Saltee in his mind is to fly out of it. Can he create a flying machine to escape his prison and follow his dreams?
