Nutti's muses

I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.

No Impact Man: The Adventures of a Guilty Liberal Who Attempts to Save the Planet, and the Discoveries He Makes About Himself and Our Way of Life in the Process

No Impact Man - Colin Beavan This was a very interesting book a NYC his wife and daughter undertook a project not to use any resources beyond basic necessity no TV electricity disposable diapers subways, etc. In between his family's experiment he talks about what led him to this project and what scientists are saying about global warming. Could I live this way? No!!! But it was a fascinating read.
