The Postmistress
While I liked this book a lot. I wanted more from the story and the characters. The book takes place in a small Maine town prior to US entering WW II. It also focuses on a young woman radio war correspondent in Europe. Her stories are transported to the Americans who feel that this isn't their war, until one of them goes to help.
