Nutti's muses

I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.

Dragon Blood (The Hurog Duology, Book 2)

Dragon Blood - Patricia Briggs The second book in this two book series. The fantasy world Briggs created is stunning. The tiny kingdom of Hurog (means dragon) is still waging war against a corrupt king who will stop at nothing to gain power. While Dragon Bones and Dragon Blood are IMHO not in the same caliber as her Mercy Thompson, it's nice to be able to read a short "high fantasy" book and not have to endure 5 500+ page books.
