Nutti's muses

I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.

Glazed Murder: A Donut Shop Mystery (Donut Shop Mysteries)

Glazed Murder - Jessica Beck Welcome to April Springs NC population 5,001 where if you want a good donut come to Donut Hearts. Recently divorced Suzanne Hart took her settlement money and opened up a donut shop. In this small town Suzanne still has to deal with her ex husband Max as well as her mother who she lives with after the divorce. One morning at 2 a.m. the body of her customer is left dead on her doorstep. Rumors of dirty cops and threats against Suzanne make her motivated to find out who killed Patrick Blaine, but who can she trust? Each chapter ends with a scrumptious looking recipe. This is the 1st in the series of a welcome addition to culinary mysteries. Looking forward to the next couple of books.
