I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.  

Hourglass

Hourglass - Myra McEntire Emerson Cole is a messed up teen. Her parents were killed in a car crash. Her older brother is her guardian who revamps old homes, oh and she sees dead people. When her older brother hires Michael a hot college student who also has the same condition. That's when she learns that there are others like her out there. And the private organization called "Hourglass" that tries to help people like her. But there's a problem someone's trying to destroy their work.
