Nutti's muses

I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.

Moon Called (Mercy Thompson, Book 1)

Moon Called - Patricia Briggs Mechanic Mercy Thompson has some unusual neighbors and clients, her neighbor, Adam, is the Alpha werewolf, and her client Stefan is a vampire. Stefan’s vehicle is a VW van painted like the Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo. Her old boss is Fae or fairy. Only the Fae have revealed their existence to the human world. Mercy has her own secret, though; she can shift into a coyote. When Adam gets injured and his teenage daughter, Jesse, gets kidnapped, it’s up to Mercy to use all her resources to get Jesse back. First in a series of seven.
