Nutti's muses

I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.

Tomorrow, When the War Began (The Tomorrow Series #1)

Tomorrow, When the War Began - John Marsden This follows the story of 7 kids who go camping over the school holidays in Australia. When they return home they find their country has been invaded and they must figure out how to survive. Some of the terminology and slang were unfamiliar as the writer is Australian, but not enough that I don't want to read the rest of the books in the series.
