Nutti's muses

I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.

Soulless (The Parasol Protectorate)

Soulless - Gail Carriger, Gail Carriger I loved this book!!!! Alexia is an unusual spinster for her time. She doesn't particularly want to get married, but she doesn't exactly fit in with her family. Her mother blames it on her Italian blood. When Alexia kills a vampire trying to feed on her, she sets over a chain of events that she never could have predicted.
