Nutti's muses

I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.

Hardball - 1st Edition/1st Printing

Hardball - 1st Edition/1st Printing - Sara Paretsky This book fluctuates between the summer of 1967 & present day. She's searching for a young man who went missing that summer. The young man's African American and it was a racially charged summer in Chicago. Along the way she delves into the past of her uncle & beloved father. Like always this is a very gritty book that pulls no punches when looking into Chicago checkered past.
