Nutti's muses

I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.

Murder of a Wedding Belle: A Scumble River Mystery

Murder of a Wedding Belle - Denise Swanson I really really like this series. It may have to do with the fact that it's set in IL, not as far downstate as Peoria, but not Chicago. In this book Skye has agreed to be maid of honor to a cousin who lives in CA, but is getting married in Scumble River. Skye's not sure why she has agreed unless it was to make her grandmother happy. When the witchy wedding planner is murdered it's up to Skye to finish planning the wedding as well as catch the murderer. This is a nice light cozy series set in a small Midwest town.
