Nutti's muses

I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.

A Peach of a Murder: A Fresh-Baked Mystery

A Peach of a Murder - Livia J. Washburn This is a great start of what appears to be a cozy mystery series. We meet Phyllis who is a retired school teacher getting ready for the annual Parker County Peach Festival. In Phyllis' case the peach bakeoff. Also included in Phyllis group are those people who rent a room in her house, also fellow teachers. The characters were fun and true to live. I think I'm going to enjoy more of these mysteries.
