Nutti's muses

I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.

So Pretty It Hurts: A Bailey Weggins Mystery (Bailey Weggins Mysteries)

So Pretty It Hurts - Kate White For anybody who secretly looks at US magazine or the like while waiting in line. Meet Bailey Weggins, but do read them in order (#1 If Looks Could Kill). Bailey is a true crime reporter who always seems to be the person finding the dead body. In this case Bailey has been invited along to a weekend home of a music exec. When one of her weekend companions, a model turned singer ends up dead. Bailey first believes it's an unfortunate death due to an eating disorder, but as things don't add up for Bailey she wonders if there's more to the story. Bailey still a fun character in this sixth book. her personal life is still a disaster. Really wanted to see more of her across the hall neighbor. Kate White has been the real life editor of Comso magazine, so when she describes the celebrities in her book I often wonder who she really bases her characters on. Fun and not to taxing reads for the beach.
