Nutti's muses

I read little bits of everything.  My mystery preference is cozy.  I enjoy science fiction, but do not have a science background.  And I'm a hobbit from wayback before I was old enough to vote.

Dear Bully: Seventy Authors Tell Their Stories

Dear Bully: Seventy Authors Tell Their Stories - Megan Kelley Hall, Carrie Jones, Claudia Gabel, Courtney Sheinmel, Crissa-Jean Chappell, Cyn Balog, Cynthia Leitich Smith, Daniel Waters, Dawn Metcalf, Debbie Rigaud, Deborah Kerbel, Diana Rodriguez Wallach, A.S. King, Eric Luper, Erin Dionne, Alyson Noel, Amy Goldman Ko As a person who was bullied in junior high, these stories were not shockers. However, they were very poignant and moving and remind us that bullying is far too common in our society. Hearing the story of how some of my favorite authors were bullied was a bit shocking. The resources in the back of the book for kids and a seperate list for caregivers & concerned adults is wonderful too.
